We had a wonderful stay at rydges. we booked a 2 bedroom villa but were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a spacious 3 bedroom unit. the villas offered great privacy and were located conveniently near our friends. cleanliness was spot on, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. we particularly enjoyed the access to the kids club and pool, which made it perfect for our family getaway. the buffet breakfast was a highlight too, just remember to book ahead for a better deal.
No complaints, just a minor issue with blunt knives. 😅.

There were really nice beds and climate control, a kitchenette area, and a sofa in the twin room. The breakfast was nice hot and delicious for tea & toast, with fabulous food. The venue was in a central location adjacent to the wineries and great restaurants as well as key Hunter Valley attractions.

The hotel was perfectly situated not far from most attractions for example the gardens, downstairs eatery, and concert and transport. Ate at Redsalt Restaurant, it's relatively near the venue.

We stayed for a weekend getaway celebrating my wife's birthday, and I must say, the experience was good. The check-in process was impressively efficient, and we loved our spacious suite with a comfortable bed and a pod coffee machine. The highlight was the fantastic buffet breakfast, complete with a coffee bar and made-to-order omelettes. The pool area was spacious, and our kids received adorable stuffed toys upon arrival, making it a nice trip.
I totally recommend this hotel.

Great hotel in the Hunter Valley. Good location to explore the region. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are very modern, large and comfortable. Too bad we only stayed one night.

Great location and family-friendly vibes! Kids loved the activities. Breakfast was a highlight with fresh fruits and tasty eggs Benedict. The room was spacious, though the air conditioning could use some tweaking. Just be prepared for limited shade around the pool area and a bit of a wait for room service.

There needs to be showers near the pool, outside area!

Very nice, big and clean room. Well maintained but very well visited pool. Large selection of delicious food. The breakfast buffet was terrific. The best buffet we have ever experienced. Large selection, everything fresh (you could even press a fresh juice yourself). The staff was very attentive.
The lady at the reception at the checkout was very unfriendly.

The kids loved the water park facilities .
Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by the terrible smell in the second room. Both rooms had an awful odor coming from the pillows and mattresses. It was so bad that even my young child noticed it.

The room itself and its position overlooking the pool area.
Our booking confirmed payment by a selection of credit cards. On arrival I was required to sign an agreement to a 1.5% merchant fee if I wished to pay by credit card. While the booking confirmation mentions a 1.5% service fee, this is not referenced to credit card use. In all my travels around the world I have never come across any hotel of quality insisting on a credit card merchant fee!

For a cozy retreat, request a room far from the pool area for a quieter experience. The mornings are especially serene.
